Venus Williams US Open Outfit
Venus Williams, sister to Serena Williams is undoubtedly one of the best tennis players in the world. However, this week, she attracted a lot of press because of her outfit.
She actually won the match and advanced to the quarter finals of the tournament, but a lot of people, including the media, were focused more on her outfit than on her performance.
The pink top was body-hugging, the shorts skin-tight. This is not the first time that Venus makes waves with her outfits. Remember the outfit she wore at the French Open? What about the one at the Australian open?
Some people are even saying that these outfits really take someone off the game and the good player that she is, as most people talk less about her game, and more about the clothes that she wears. A lot of people agree though, that it is way better than the Australian Open outfit, that it is the one that will be remembered for a long time to come.

She has definitely toned it down this time, as compared to the Australian Open. I doubt people even remembered who won the tournament, but they will not forget the outfit anytime soon.
With her track record with the outfits, many wonder what is coming next. I choose to see Venus Williams as the strong tennis player that she is. I like that she is experimenting with her clothes, and that she is not bound by what other people may deem as acceptable or not.
I have always respected people on the strong, controversial choices that they make, whether it is with their clothes, religion or beliefs.
Whatever outfit she rocks in the next match, to me she will always be one of the greatest Women Tennis players of all time, and I will continue to follow her career.
