Tape Tennis
Lead tape in Tennis Racquets?
I have put 6 grams on 2 and 10 o’clock on my racquet. But it changed the balanced. So i resorted to put another 6 grams of lead tape on the handle itself. I usually hold my racquet at the furthest from the head, therefore, i put those handle lead tapes on the handle nearest to the head. The tapes are longitudinal and it stretches down and not sideways (left to right).
Is it alright? Or is there a better place to put those lead tapes?
Some players put the weights at 9 and 3 o’clock. You may have to just try different places.
